Fancy Finishes Sampler Ornament
This course explores using silk passementerie fibers to trim our counted work ornaments to give them a bit of pizzazz. The counted work uses a variety of stitches to work the sampler in soie d'alger threads.

This scissors case as a glove, is inspired by the multitude of 17th century sweet bags and cushions which use tent stitch to work a design and then a long gobelin stitch in gold or silver thread for the background, imparting a delicious shine.
